We're inviting athletes, leaders, and changemakers from every corner of life to step forward as the first wave of World Sports Day ambassadors. The role is simple in description and ambitious in spirit. Lend your voice, your story, and your community to a movement built on the idea that sport belongs to everyone.
Ambassadors are not chosen by trophy count. They are chosen by impact, authenticity, and the relationships they have built with the people around them. Whether your platform is a stadium, a classroom, a club room, or a kitchen table, your voice can help carry this message further than ours alone ever could.
What ambassadors do
The work is light but meaningful. Ambassadors share the World Sports Day story with their networks, attend a small number of optional moments throughout the year, and act as guides for the communities they already serve. We provide the toolkit, the message, and the support. You bring the human element that makes it land.
We are looking for a balance of voices, across sports, generations, and lived experiences. The strength of this group will be in its diversity, not its uniformity. If sport has shaped your life, we would like to hear from you.
How to apply
Applications open today through the get involved section of the site. The form takes a few minutes. We read every submission. If you know someone who would be a brilliant ambassador, send this their way. The first wave will be confirmed in the coming weeks.
