Meet the partners helping us bring World Sports Day to life in clubs, schools, and towns across Ireland. They are not all household names. Most of them, in fact, are not. They are the local heroes, the volunteers, the small businesses, and the community organisations who make sport happen on the ground, week in and week out.
When we set out to design World Sports Day, we knew the success of the day would not be measured in headlines. It would be measured in parishes, parks, and parking lots. The partners stepping up first are the people who already understood that, long before we ever sent them a deck.
Why local matters
A national movement only works if it is also a local movement. Each partner brings something different, a venue, a network, a tradition, a story. Together they form a patchwork that turns one weekend a year into something rooted, real, and lasting. The day will look different in every town, and that is exactly the point.
In the coming weeks we will introduce more of these partners, one at a time. You will hear from the people running the show in their communities, why they said yes, and what they hope this becomes. Their stories are the foundation everything else is built on.
Become a partner
If you are part of a club, school, council, business, or charity that wants to be part of World Sports Day, we would love to talk. There is no template. Every conversation starts with what you already do well, and how this can amplify it. Get in touch through the partners page to start the conversation.
